In 2025, protests against President Trump have drawn significant crowds, with estimates suggesting that more than 1.5 million people participated in various demonstrations nationwide during the first half of the year alone. Major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago have seen gatherings of tens of thousands, with notable events such as the "March for Democracy" attracting upwards of 250,000 participants in Washington, D.C.
The number of protests has increased dramatically, with more than 8,000 organized events reported in the first five months of 2025 alone. This surge reflects a concerted effort by grassroots organizations and activist groups to mobilize communities at a time of heightened political tension.
