GOSHEN

Claudette Marie Shattuck
Claudette, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 30, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was born in Albertson, New York, on Feb. 12, 1947, a daughter of John and Lillian Audevart. Claudette is survived by her niece and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Carol and John, as well as her husband Skip. 

John Murphy
John, a loving husband, brother, son, uncle and legendary racecar driver passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 3, at the age of 60.  He was born in Hartford on March 12, 1965. John was predeceased by his parents. John is survived by his wife Jennifer, his brother Jerry, and several nieces and nephews.

Jay Barrante 
Jay, 67, of Goshen, passed peacefully on Jan. 2, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

LITCHFIELD 

Russell Simoncelli 
Russell “Bud,” 100, passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, in Litchfield surrounded by family. Bud was born on Sept. 6, 1925, in Torrington, and was the beloved son of John and Laura. Bud is survived by his sisters Marion and Jeanette, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his siblings John, Ethel, George, Lillian, Anthony, and Loretta.

Jennie Billieux
Jennie, 91, died on Feb. 6, after a brief illness. She was born on October 2, 1934, in Torrington. She is survived by her children Frederick and Carol, as well as her four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Marion Marola
Marion, of Litchfield, passed away on Jan. 22, with her family by her side. Born on July 12, 1929, in Torrington, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emelia Nadaskay. Marola is survived by her children Martin and Claudia, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

THOMASTON

Darlene Peterson
Darlene, 65, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 8, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 14, 1960, to William and Erika Michitsch of Thomaston, CT. Darlene is survived by her children Erika and Austin, as well as two grandsons. 

Carlos Sedano-Zagal
Carlos, 45, of Thomaston, passed away Feb. 8 at his home. He was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and at the age of 15, he moved to the United States. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Ulalia, as well as his son Kaivin. He is survived by his wife Brandy Sedano and their five children. Carlos also leaves behind a granddaughter, and several sisters, nieces and nephews.

Marion Innes DePecol
Marion, 100, passed away peacefully on Feb. 2. She was a lifelong resident of Thomaston and was predeceased by her husband, Bruno, and their daughter Martha. Marion is survived by her children Nancy, Mark, and Christine.

Linda M. Bond
Linda, 78, passed away on Jan. 31 after courageously battling cancer for many years. Linda was born in Waterbury on Sept. 20, 1947, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cimino) Spadola. Including her husband, Wayne, she leaves behind her children Kristen, Douglas, Amy, and Evan.

TORRINGTON

Louise Hough 
Louise, 91, of Torrington passed away peacefully on Feb. 6 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Born on April 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Lucy Finotti. Louise is survived by her loving daughters Lynne, Christine, Carol, Patti, and Rebecca. Louise also leaves behind her sisters and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Ann Mason 
Ann, 87, of Torrington, passed away Feb. 5, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was born on Sept. 1, 1939, in Keeseville, New York. Ann leaves behind her children William and Brooke, as well as several grandchildren. Besides her husband Richard, 

Roberta Scaia
Roberta, 79, of Torrington Feb. 2 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. Born on Dec. 17, 1946, in Torrington, she was the daughter of the late Geno and Mollie. She will be deeply missed by her life partner Michael Conway, and her siblings Mary and Bill. 

Thomas Bauer 
Thomas, 87, passed away at home with his family by his side on Feb. 2. Thomas was born in Torrington, the son of the late Conrad Sr. and Edna. In addition to his wife Eileen, he is survived by his daughters Karen and Trisha Bauer, as well as his granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

Mildred Neri
Mildred, 95, passed peacefully in her sleep at Wolcott Hall in Torrington on Feb. 2. Born Dec. 4, 1930, she is the daughter of the late Vincent and Florence Follert. She leaves behind four daughters, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. 

Ernest Marquard 
Ernest, 93 of Torrington, passed away peacefully at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on Feb. 2. He was the only child of Ernest and Emma. He leaves behind his wife Audrey and their four children Gregory, David, Kevin, and Karen. Ernest is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

James Cross Culpepper
James, 84, of Torrington passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, surrounded by his loved ones. Jim was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He is survived by his siblings Bill and Katie, as well as his daughters Kelly, Sherri, Sandra, Morgan, and Madison. He is also remembered by his former spouse Aileen.

Wanda McKeon 
Wanda, 81, passed away Feb. 2, at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Queens, New York, on Dec. 7, 1944, the daughter of the late Henry and Wanda Bishevsky. Survivors, in addition to her husband Jack, include two sons, a brother, and several grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Patricia Adkins 
Patricia “Patti,” 64, of Torrington, passed away on Feb. 1, from complications of lung cancer. Patti was born on July 5, 1961. Patti is survived by her husband Brad, her three sons Brian, Dale, and David. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, and her five siblings. 

David Hennessy 
David, 79, died Jan. 30. He was born in Torrington on June 24, 1946, son of the late Francis and Eileen. He is survived by his wife Linda, and her siblings Carol and Jeffery. 

Nelly Wilbur 
Nelly, 80, of Torrington, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27 at her home surrounded by family. Born on Nov. 14, 1945, in Pontelandolfo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria. She is survived by Gerry, her beloved husband of 53 years. Nelly is also survived by her children Traci and Daniel, and two grandchildren. 

Jean M. Colleoni
Jean, 77, was born on Feb. 19, 1948, in Torrington. She passed away peacefully on Jan. 27, and was the beloved daughter of the late Luke and Mary. She is survived by her siblings William, Marguerite, and Diana. Jean also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and great nephews.

Terrie L. Hebert
Terrie, 66, died peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 26. Terrie, a life long resident of Torrington, was born on Nov. 22, 1959, the daughter of Aloha Winegar. She is survived by her children Crystal, Benjamin, and Susan, and six siblings. Additionally, she leaves behind three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Washington

John Hoffer
John, 75, of Washington, passed away on Jan. 30. Survivors include his wife Kerri, their children Ali, John, Brittany, and Jonathan. He also leaves behind his sister Peggy.

Winsted

Christine Woodworth 
Christine, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 5 at her home. Born on Sept. 8, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Robert and Christine Hedin. In addition to her husband Albert, she is survived by her beloved children Dawn, Richard, Eric, and David. Christine also left behind grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. 

Anne Camp
Anne, 87, passed away peacefully on Feb. 1. Anne was born in Winsted and was the pride and joy of the late Helen and Lester. Anne is survived by her two children George and Sarah, as well as three grandchildren.
