As 2025 draws to a close, we look back at a year of growth and accomplishment for The Goshen News. Distribution has now expanded to 19 towns and over 68 distribution sites in addition to Every Door Delivery in Goshen. We have also expanded both our professional and volunteer staff, providing broader coverage on a wide range of matters of interest to readers in the Northwest Corner. We are pleased to acknowledge their efforts and contributions in a special section on page 16.

We would also like to thank you, our readers, for your support and input. We welcome your comments and leads for stories about your towns, neighborhoods and other issues that affect us all. Please continue!

There remains a great deal more to do, of course, and our goals for 2026 include further expansion of both distribution and news coverage in Northwest Corner cities and towns. To achieve that, we need your help!

Volunteer local writers are among the most valuable assets we have, and we need more of them! If you are interested in how the local government in your town works, and want to play a key role in keeping your neighbors informed, sign up to cover meetings of your City Council or Board of Selectmen, as well as other local events and issues of interest. Recently we have updated our website (goshennews.org) with a place for donations for the paper.  Please consider supporting us financially.
