Gerald A. “Pops” Mosley, Jr., 73, of Middlebury, formerly of Torrington and Goshen, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at Waterbury Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Donna G. (Mansfield Humphrey Norman) Mosley. Gerry was born in Torrington on December 15, 1951, son
of the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Exner Mosley Drozdenko) Formaggioni and the late Gerald A Mosley, Sr. Gerry leaves a daughter, Beth Zagorski of Southington; a son Curtis Mosley of Torrington; three step daughters, Shelley Bettencourt and her husband Daniel of West Hartford, Amanda Nardozzi and her husband James of Waterbury, and Elizabeth Diatelevi and her husband Peter of Manakin Sabot, VA
Robert Gavell passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2025, at the age of 72. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Karen Gavell, four children, three grandchildren, faithful “Poodle”, remaining siblings (he was predeceased by his sister Leona), and many friends. .In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chore Service, P.O. Rita Hubbell departed earthly life to join her husband in eternal peace, Mar. 31, 2025, aged 99 years. Rita was the daughter of Hugh and Bridget Burns, and twin of the late Robert Burns of Naugatuck. She was the wife of the late Ted A. Hubbell Sr. and a resident of Naugatuck for most of her life. She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Kausyla and Susan (Robert) Jones, and daughter-in-law Deborah Hubbell. She was the mother of the late Ted A. Hubbell Jr. She leaves five grandchildren: Hillary (Steve) Hubbell-Flinn, Justin Hubbell, David Kausyla, Ingrid Kausyla, and Emily (Alex) Hunt. In addition, she was great-grandmother to: Mario Ramos, Grace Kausyla, David Kausyla, Oliver Boroski, Nora Hunt and Ben Hunt. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, among them Robert, Thomas and Kevin Burns, whom she shared a special fondness with.
Wayne Shields, 90, of Litchfield, passed away April 25, 2025.

John C. Devanney, 77, of Winsted, CT, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Smith) Devanney. Born on May 3, 1947, in Hartford, CT, John was the son of the late Raymond and Carol (Hoffman) Devanney. His dedication to service was evident during his time in the U.S. Navy, where he honorably served two tours of active duty in Vietnam. John's commitment to his country was a source of pride and respect for all who knew him. In addition to his wife Linda, John is survived by one daughter, Colleen Devanney and fiance' Evan Taylor of Seattle, Washington; four brothers, Ray “Remi” Devanney of Manchester, CT, Sean Devanney of Florida, Dr. James Devanney of New Hartford, CT, and Damien Devanney of Winsted, CT; three sisters, Pat Hotchkiss of Watertown, CT, Jennifer Barry of Bloomfield, CT, and Rebecca “Becky” Moran of Farmington, CT, as well as many nieces and nephews. Maurice (Moe) Edward Fitzgerald, died on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 peacefully with his wife Eileen by his side. Moe was born on March 18, 1951 and raised in Winsted. In addition to his wife Eileen (McCarthy) Fitzgerald, he is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Fitzgerald and Mary (Paul) Flieger; nieces, Caitlin Flieger and Dana (Jose) De La Campa; nephew, Brock Flieger; step daughters, Rista Malanca and Kristin (Carlos) Sarcia; and enjoyed being “Poppa Moe” to his grandson, Luca Holda.
Donald Coloske, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025 after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Donna Ellsmore-Coloske for 24 adventurous years. Born July 30, 1956 in Bristol; the son of the late Donald “Corky” Coloske and Margaret “Marge” (Valigursky) Coloske. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Erica Coloske of NC; grandson, Austin Coloske of NC; granddaughter, Amber Coloske of Winchester; siblings, Bob Coloske and wife Ingrid of New Hartford, John Coloske and wife Lisa of MA and Diane Mikuski and husband Joe of NC and his beloved dog, Brutus.
Linda (Wilson) Colomb, 73, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025 at her home in Winsted, Connecticut. Born on February 6, 1952 in Winsted; the daughter of the late Sherwood and Dorothy (Heath) Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Weaver and her husband Shawn, and their son Xavier Weaver; her son, Jay P. Colomb and his sons, Tré and Charlie Colomb. She is also survived by her siblings: Woody Wilson, Gloria Tino, Arlene Wilson, Debora Almasoudi and Forrest Wilson; as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.
