Region 20 School Budget Vote: A Resounding “NO” Across the Board
Voters in the four Region 20 towns went to the polls on Tuesday, May 6, to decide whether to accept a $43.13 million 2025/2026 budget proposal and to take a 20-year loan of $3.5 million to cover a 2024/2025 deficit and to fund capital improvements and repairs. In all four towns, the response to both questions was a resounding “NO”, with voters indicating that the budget was just “too high”.
